Living Land, a production of the South African Broadcasting Corporation, travels to the north-eastern region of Tanzania to learn how they adapt their agricultural practices to cope with the universal threat of climate change. Due to limited capacity and widespread poverty, climate change is a grave threat to the livelihoods of vulnerable populations. We see how AFRICAP is implemented: a collaborative international programme that identifies and implements evidence-based policies and methods for sustainable and productive climate-smart agriculture systems. And finally, we return to Johannesburg to visit Thamo Mzobe, the chief executive of the NDA about alleviating poverty and mitigating climate change problems. – SABC Education.
